Here's what they have to say:
Night time skincare routine is very important and I trust in the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum to thoroughly hydrate and replenish my skin with moisture.
The texture is light and gets absorbed very easily into the skin. Wake up looking more refreshed and radiant.
Another must-have for me is the FRESH Rose Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask. It drenches the skin in hydration and locks in the moisture with its 2-step treatment, which helps to reveal healthy, supple skin the very next day.
It also has a soothing rose scent that calms the senses and prepares the mind for bedtime.
My top favorite beauty product to use at night will be Belif aqua bomb sleeping mask , Saborino good night moist sheet mask and moilip Shiseido lip balm.
The aqua bomb is my all time favourite hydrating magic sleeping mask. After use my face feel so plump and especially during a full day shoot or winter trip.
Saborino good night mask is for on the go people. It's a 60 seconds mask that can use as your 5-in-1 mask like serum, moisturiser , mask , lotion and toner.
When I'm on flight and start shooting right away when I'm landed in an oversea country, this is the one I will bring on my flight. Cause just apply and I can continue my makeup step right away. Best is it only takes 60 second. my SOS skin saver!
moilip is the lip balm that I use before applying my matte lipstick / start my makeup. Reduce cracked lips and best life saver when you travel to winter country!
Estee lauder Advance Night Serum which is great to replenish skin hydration as well as to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. I will usually use it together with Bskin Elvi to allow better penetration of the serum to the skin.
I love Sulwhasoo Radiance energy mask too. This is my last step of my nightly skincare routine. It helps to lock in the moisture and I wake up with a more hydrated and radiant skin.
Due to the nature of my sensitive skin, I use products that are not very harsh on the skin. At night, I use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for cleansing and OMEDI (an indie K-beauty brand) Intensive Emulsion for moisturising.
Once a week, I would exfoliate my skin with Sand And Sky Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment to rid any junk that I am not able to remove using normal cleanser.
I don't really use sheet masks because most of them leave an uncomfortably sticky substance on my face after use. But I am always open to trying new face masks because I am still searching for the one which works absolutely well for me!
So for now, it's Sand and Sky Porefining Face Mask about twice a week for me.
My night routine is crucial for me is because i wear make up on a daily basis due to my job's nature so after a proper double cleansing session which i usually start off with ordinary gentle makeup removers like Hada Labo Hydrating Micellar Cleansing water, followed by Edobio cleansing soap which not only works as a facial cleanser but it also removes makeup traces lingering around.
Finishing off with my all time favourite MUST HAVE from Momohime Japan Peach White Essence which helps to repair my skin and retain moisture while i sleep especially in air conditioned room.
Even when i'm exhausted to do my usual skincare full routine after cleansing, i know i can rely on this essence alone to keep my skin looking radiant and supple for next morning.
Momohime Japan Peach White Essence is something i swear by for people with sensitive skin as it contains all natural ingredients including real peach juice which smells heavenly and not too overwhelming.
It also doesn't contain any alcohol or animal derivatives (commonly found in most skincare products) making it suitable for Muslim users.
In the day, your skincare is supposed to give you the best protection. But at night, you should using the best skincare to repair your skin. There's a list of products that I use for my night routine, but here my favourite 3!
Honestly, I have many skincare favourites from IDS Skincare but I decided to choose the favourite out of the favourites for this and it's the IDS Skincare Eye Rescue! This product moisturizes and reduce dark eye circles and puffiness, hence providing a lift to the eye area.
I don't use this all the time, but if I have an event the next day, a bonus step is to use Clarins V Shaping Facial Lift to reduce puffiness and double chin by lifting the skin.
I usually finish my routine with First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy to keep my lips hydrates. Plus it has a nice peppermint scent to help relieve any stress.
During the night, it is important to remove all traces of impurities and makeup (if any) by double cleansing. Double cleansing is huge in Korea and I believe it has made it way to South East Asia as well.
I use THREE Balancing Cleansing Oil as my first step then move on to Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser as both are mild and suitable even for the most sensitive skin, like mine.
I occasionally use a sleeping mask like Laneige Water Sleeping Mask for deep hydration to wake up fresh with glowy skin the next morning!
Double cleansing is important and I use the Banila & Co Clean It Zero cleansing balm, followed by my Mario Badescu Enzyme cleansing gel which is gentle for my sensitive skin.
Exfoliation is important to remove all the dead skin buildup, and a gentle yet effective exfoliator is a chemical exfoliator and I use Cosrx Whitehead Power Liquid.
Lastly, I use Aesop Parsley Seed Hydrating Cream as my night moisturizer, making sure that my neck and decolletage area is not missed as that area reveals about your age the most!
Night routine is very important because your skin will repair itself while you were sleeping so you have to make sure it is properly moisturized during that 7 hours.
I prep my skin with CNP Laboratory's CNP Invisible Peeling Booster, which is a gentle daily exfoliator. At night, I use Claire Organics Lavender Face/Body Oil, an oil based moisturizer because it works well for dehydrated skin and the smell is a great aromatherapy.
Every 3 days, I alternate it with Laneige Water Sleeping Mask.
I use the Nature Republic 92% Aloe Vera Gel at the end of my nighttime routine as a sleeping mask. I usually put on a very thick layer of this, after moisturiser, and let it soak in. It feels really nice to use after a long day out and it has so many skincare benefits.
Aloe vera is great at hydrating, soothing and it also has antibacterial properties. I talked about this so much on my blog because it completely cleared my skin of any acne.
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye is my go-to eye cream for my nighttime skincare routine because it has the perfect consistency. It's thick enough to shield my skin from the harsh AC, but lightweight enough that it doesn't feel heavy on my skin.
I get fine lines under my eyes if the skin there is too dry, and this has done an amazing job at keeping my undereye area hydrated and smooth. It also has such an aromatherapeutic scent which I love!
As a beauty blogger, I love exploring new beauty products and hardly stay loyal to any unless they are good. So far, three products have managed to stay on my repurchase list for years.
The first two - Biore Mild Cleansing Liquid and L’Oreal Eye makeup Remover – are makeup cleansers targeting the face and eye areas respectively. Both are affordable and effective! Yes, great products need not be expensive, and vice versa.
Another product that I love using at night is DHC lip cream. It is long-lasting and keeps my dry and sensitive lips deeply-moisturized, right through the night.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask: I use this luscious, multi-tasking mask as a night cream by warming a dollop on the palm of my hands, and gently press the product into my skin to avoid any tugging.
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate: I would always turn to this iconic facial oil whenever my skin is feeling extra dry, especially after a flight. I'll take 3-4 drops and apply it evenly at the very last step of my skincare regime.
The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution: I use this once a week as a skin resurfacing treatment. It helps with diminishing any unwanted skin texture and also lightens my acne scars.
I have a few products that I swear by! One of which is Paula's Choice 2% BHA lotion, this product is magic and really helped with my hormonal + stress related breakouts. I use this after serum and before my oils.
My other must have is Weleda Skin Food. I have discovered necklines with age! Weleda's Skin Food is rich, non greasy and absorbs well into my skin.
It's so important to keep my neck and hands moisturised as they are always one of the first to show signs of ageing.
My favourite beauty products at night are Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate, Laneige Lip Mask and Vaseline.
I use Kiehl's midnight recovery concentrate after I cleanse and tone my face, before the moisturizer. It is oil-based texture and it has a gentle lavender scent, soothing your skin and calming your mind!
The Lip sleeping mask from Laneige is always my lifesaver as I love to apply lipsticks and I use this product every night so that my lips will look plump the next day. Just apply a thick layer before you go to bed!
You heard me right! It is Vaseline! When my skin gets very dry I will apply a layer on my cleansed face for 20 mins! It works wonder.
Getting a good beauty sleep is so important.
Murad Night Fix Enzyme Treatment is my night-time favourite to keep me a good night sleep. I like how the gel-like texture soaked into my skin, I could feel it absorbed very quickly and makes my skin feeling so refreshing.
It's lovely scent also makes it a luxurious aromatherapy treatment that really feels like a pampering indulgence at the end of a long day.
I always love face sheet masks because they are really a convenient beauty product that can fit the needs of every women, from A-Z.
I use Dr.Jart+ Rubber Mask Moist Lover for deeper hydration three times a week to boost my skin's hydration level.
And, also SHO Wrinkle Lift Peptide Ampoule Mask to reduce and soften appearance of fine lines, wrinkles that caused by dryness.
After cleansing my face with Sukin Foaming Facial Cleanser, I will pat dry my skin before applying Aesop In Two Minds Toner. I like how inhaling the scent of Aesop In Two Minds Toner helps to relieve the day's tiredness and fatigue and relaxes the mind.
To give my skin extra moisture, I would apply Aesop Parsley Seed Anti-oxidant Serum using upward strokes from chin up to the cheeks for that added lift as well as to soothe the laugh lines on my face.
Twice a week, I would apply Anjeri Silver Sleeping Mask and massage my face at the same time to brighten my skin. What's more, it makes my skin softer and smoother as well!
After years of trying too many skincare products for my acne-prone and sensitive skin, I realized that less is more. I try to go as basic and natural as possible.
I use the Cetaphil range of products as they've been working great for my skin. I use Cetaphil cleanser, moisturizer, and sunblock. After cleansing I'll dab Thayers' Witch Hazel with a cotton pad on my skin.
Once a week, or whenever I feel like it, I'll make my own masks by mixing equal parts Green French Clay + AVC, or Aztec Healing Clay Mask + ACV. They help to lift impurities and keep my skin smooth and supple!
For my dry lips, I use Lucas Papaw Ointment.
So you can see, nothing fancy - all basic and affordable!
I change my skincare pretty often since it's my job to try them out but recently my favourite skincare products are Laneige Cream Skin Refiner Mist and Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream.
They are awesome products individually but even better when used together, it's ultra moisturising.
However, this combination is only meant for dry skin people out there but trust me, once you've tried them, you'll never want to use any other products.
My night routine is pretty simplistic but hydration is key because I sleep in an air conditioned room daily.
I would cleanse as per normal with my Sebamed facial cleanser, before using 5YINA's Lucent Hydrolat Toner. I will then follow up with Ania Skincare's Marula Brightening Serum which really makes a difference when I wake up the next day.
Lastly, hydration to seal in the moisture will be Belif Aqua Bomb which has a light, gel-like texture.
My favourite skincare before I hit the bed would definitely be The Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask. I usually use this as overnight mask pack as well as moisturizer for the eyes area because it is the part on the skin which is prone to dryness.
This product is suitable for oily, blemish prone, and aging skin with hyper-pigmentation and fine lines or wrinkles. The Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask does not simply tell lies because it gives my skin with supple, plump, and dewy-looking skin every time I wake up in the morning.
I usually use Banila & Co Clean It Zero to massage my face, neck and decolletage. It's actually a cleansing balm but due to its consistency, I love to use this as 'facial massage balm'. In fact, that leaves my skin moisturised, and no greasy residue. I’ve never experienced any breakouts or irritation as a result of using this product. It leaves my skin feeling very clean but not too dry. It also help to minimize the appearance of wrinkles (on my forehead), lighten the spots, and heal my acne.
Argania Wonder Oil bursts with natural ingredients and a complex amount of fatty acids which is a superfood for the skin as it keeps the skin hydrated throughout the night and into the next day. It can also be used to reduce the appearance of facial scars by encouraging the cell growth and as anti-inflammatory agent. I love to apply Argania Wonder Oil on my skin because it really helps with improving the skin especially when the skin really needs to be pampered with hydration.
I love to mix Argania Wonder Oil with my DIY hydrating and exfoliating face scrub. This face scrub is great for those who have combination, oily, acne-prone, or even dry skin as it helps to scrub off dead skin faster and naturally. The ingredients are as follows (I actually got this recipe from other bloggers, and it really helped me!):
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Lemon (squeeze out for the juice)
- 7-10 drops of Argania Wonder Oil
- 1 tablespoon Honey (Preferable Stingless Bee Honey or Madu Kelulut)
- 1/2 tablespoon Cinnamon Powder (optional)
Mix well and use this as face scrub twice or thrice a week after cleansing the face. Apply this on wet face. Do not rub on eyes area. Leave it on the skin for 10 – 15 minutes. After that, rinse off with icy cold water (put the ice on a bowl of cold water). I would recommend this to be done before going to bed. I usually massage my face using Argania Light as the last step of my evening beauty routine.
I would apply the Paula’s Choice 2% Skin Perfecting Liquid Exfoliant on my freshly cleansed face by tapping it gently onto my face using my fingertips.
Next, I would apply the Jojoba Oil which I instilled my favorite essential oils that are great for the skin like lavender, lemon, rosemary and tea tree.
Then for added moisture especially during cold weather I would finish off by using Olay Total Effects Cream which I have been using for years.
